The official English title of the association was approved by the UNOLA as ‘Korean Association for Supporting the SDGs for the UN’ in June of 2015. With this, the following title was approved in Korea by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs United Nations Division and the Public Diplomacy Division in December 2015.

The former title of ‘Korean Association for Supporting the SDGs for the UN’ was changed to ‘Association for Supporting the SDGs for the UN’ by the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations in its 2020 regular session (New York, 20–29 January and 7 February 2020).

The official title of the association is ‘Association for Supporting the SDGs for the UN’  /  ‘Association for Supporting the Sustainable Development Goals for the United Nations as specified on the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations of the UN ECOSOC Website and the consultative status with ECOSOC List.
