Representative

Representative Jung-Hoon Kim is an expert in the field of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies for sustainable management of global corporations. He has experience in the Seoul Metropolitan Government, The Commission on Presidential Transition, and the Korean delegation of China’s desertification-prevention business. He had not only been a Special Advisor to the President & Senior Public Relations Officer at the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), an affiliated organization under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but also the Secretary General of the UN SDGs Forum of the Korean National Assembly. He has extensive experience in government bodies/ local governments/ political parties/ National Assemblies/ non-governmental organizations.

Currently, he is the Representative of the ‘Association for supporting the SDGs for the UN (ASD)’, Chairman of the Evaluation Committee of the Sustainable Development Goals Business Index (SDGBI). In July 2019, he was selected as the exhibitor of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (UN HLPF 2019) along with 35 organizations around the world, displaying the corporate sustainability model at the UN headquarters in New York.  Also, he has been regularly publishing the columns more than 200 times related to the strategies for sustainability management of global corporations for ‘Chosun Biz’ and ‘The Segye Times’.

Furthermore, he manages global initiatives in partnerships for the SDGs, which is a SDGs partnership platform. He is a global consultant of the KT Corporation Union Corporate Committee (KT UCC), founded by the labor and management unions of 20 major businesses including KT Corporation. Also, he acts as a consultant to BKT, a global water treatment company, Incheon International Airport Corporation, and Korea Water Resources Corporation(K-water), etc.

Senior Researchers & Specialist

The association is joined by six full-time researchers, three non-executive specialists, and 30 advisors (corporate executives and legal advisors).

Myung-Joo Lee is a special advisor who has worked for many years at the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI-NGO) of the UN headquarters in New York, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) of the Ethiopian office and served as a researcher at the Korea Institute for Environmental Policy Evaluation. Also, she advises the association about the economic and social issues of the United Nations.

Tae-Koo Lee is an M&A officer at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)  New York headquarters, a global accounting firm, and assists the association in finance.

Jun-Haeng Jo is a leading industrial designer at National Geography, Samsung Economic Research Institute, and SK Telecom.
